Ragini MMS (2011)

Mahal (1949)

Hari Shankar (Ashok Kumar) comes to claim his inheritance - a palatial building known as Shabnam Mahal. He does not see anything out of the normal, until he sees his portrait on the wall. The housekeeper tells him the background of the portrait and the tragic ending of two lovers. Later, Hari Shankar sees a woman singing and swinging in the garden swing, when he approaches, she disappears. Both the housekeeper and his lawyer friend, Shrinath, warn Hari Shankar, and ask him to stay away from this house, he does so, only to be drawn back. No one can help Hari Shankar now as he continues to be drawn deeper and deeper into the dark world of the ghostly apparition. "Ayega.. ayega... aanewala, aayega...." is still popular on radio and tapes/cd.







Raat (1992)

The Sharma family re-locates to a semi-urban locality in a house that has a "reputation". The Sharma family consists of Mr. Sharma (Akash Khurana), his wife Shalini Sharma (Rohini Hattangadi), only daughter Manisha Sharma (Revathi) or "Mini" as they affectionately call her; and their grandchild Bunty (Master Ateet), as his parents had been killed in an accident. Bandh Darwaza (1990)

Unable to conceive, Thakurain Lajjo enlists the help of her maid, Mahua, and approaches a demon named Nevla, who assures her that she will indeed give birth but if it's a daughter, then she must surrender her to him, to which she agrees. Shortly thereafter, she gives birth to a daughter, Kamya, but refuses to surrender it. Mahua poisons her, abducts Kamya, and takes her to Nevla, but Thakur Pratap Singh intervenes just in time, banishes the former to a coffin in a cavern, and rescues his daughter. 18 years later, Kamya herself will be compelled to approach and resurrect Nevla in order to win the love of Kumar - who she is obsessed with - and will do anything to make him her forever.









Veerana (1988)

After the sudden death of her dad, Sameer, and mom, Preeti, Sahila goes to live with her grandmother and cousin in Bombay. Years later, now fully matured, she returns home to Chandanagar to live with her uncle, Mahendra Pratap, and cousin, Jasmin. This is where she will be exposed to a resurrected evil witch, Nikita, who has manifested herself in the body of Jasmin. Aided by a priest named Baba, she is determined to kill each and every one of the remainder of the Pratap family members. And there is no known power on Earth that can stop Nikita.









Bees Saal Baad (1988)

{Kiran is the only child of wealthy widower, Thakur. While she resides in Britain, her dad lives in a palatial house in rural India. When the time comes for her to return home, her dad arrives at the airport to receive and is surprised to see her in the company of a young man, who she later introduces as her husband, Suraj. Thakur overcomes his shock at seeing Suraj, but welcomes him. On the way while driving, Suraj sees a woman in white blocking the road, but the driver is unable to stop the car in time. They alight from the car and note that there is no one on the road. That night, Suraj has a dream about a woman clad in white who is summoning him to her, claiming that she is Nisha, his wife from a previous birth. Using her magical powers she inserts a nail in one of Suraj's legs on a new moon night. All she has to do is waiting for the next new moon, and then insert another nail in Suraj's other foot.





Bhoot (2003)

Manjeet Khosla lives with her widowed mom in Bombay, India. She gets married, gives birth to a son, and separates from her spouse. She goes to live on the 12th floor of an apartment building. Thereafter, she has an affair with Sanjay Thakkar, who is the son of the building Secretary. Shortly thereafter, she and her son fall down from their balcony and die. The building watchman testifies that Manjeet was depressed and suicidal. The apartment remains vacant for some time, and then eventually new tenants,


Vishal and his wife, Swati, move in. Vishal finds out about Manjeet's untimely death but keeps this information from Swati. When Swati finds out she is displeased with Vishal, but her anger dissolves quickly. Then Swati starts sleep-walking, leading Vishal to have her medically examined. After she recovers, she claims to see Manjeet in her apartment, as well as behaves strangely. Then the building watchman gets killed by having his neck and head turned backwards.


Vaastu Shastra (2004)

Dr. Jhilmil Rao works in a Pune Hospital, and lives in a flat with her writer husband, Virag her sister, Radhika; and son, Rohan. The family decides to re-locate to Saswade about 12 km from Pune in a spacious bungalow. Virag finds the necessary solitude to carry on with his writing, Radhika and Jhilmil take the car for college and work respectively, while Rohan is delighted that he has ample place to play. He soon befriends two other children Manish and Jyoti and informs his parents accordingly. Since there is no neighbor anywhere within sight, they think that he has an active imagination like his dad. They decide to hire a maid, Rukma, to look after him. Subsequently, Rohan complains that Rukma had tried to kill him by trying to push him under a truck, but Rukma denies this. Rohan also accuses Rukma of stealing property from their house, which Rukma vehemently denies. The next day the Police Inspector Bhupal Gorpade.


Naina (2005)

During the 1986 Surya Grahan, young Naina Shah, while traveling in the backseat of her England-based dad's car, is stuck by glass from the shattered windshield during an accident, and loses her eyesight. Her parents do not survive, and she is brought up by her paternal grandmother. Years later, Naina gets a successful cornea transplant, and is able to see. She complains of vision problems, seeing hooded persons, and people dying, which a Psychiatrist, Samir Patel, diagnoses as hallucinations. But when Naina reports seeing someone else in her mirror reflection, Sameer decide to investigate who the original cornea actually belonged to. This investigation will lead them to a impoverished village in New Bhuj, Gujarat, where she will find her life endangered by hostile villagers who believe that the donor of her cornea was cursed.







Raaz (2002)
